Badlesmere 10K

North Downs AONB • Kent

A stunning 10km race in the Kent North Downs AONB. Scenic countryside, strong community atmosphere, and a course that’s as tough as it is beautiful.

Set in the stunning Kent North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Badlesmere 10K blends big-sky countryside with a properly testing course. Whether you’re chasing a PB, building fitness, or just want a memorable autumn race in a brilliant location, this is one that rewards grit as much as it does pace. Running or walking, everyone is welcome and 100% of the profits go to our charity via our community run village hall and lees.

  • Sunday 27th September 2026

  • 9:30am – Kids’ Race (short race for children only)

  • 10:00am – Badlesmere 10K (adults)

Entry Fees

  • £25 + booking fees

  • £24 + booking fees for affiliated runners

Eligibility

  • Minimum age: 18+ on race day (10K)

  • No refunds (please enter only if you’re able to attend)

The Race

Event Description

The Badlesmere 10K is a countryside 10km run through the North Downs AONB in Kent. Expect scenic stretches, fresh air, and a course that asks for commitment from start to finish. If you like races with character—this one has it in spades.

Terrain & Difficulty

  • Beautiful route in a protected landscape

  • Challenging in places (this isn’t a “flat and fast”)

  • Entrants are welcome to walk instead of running 

  • Suitable for runners who enjoy a proper test if chasing a PB

Timing

  • Results will be provided on race day via Chip Timing

Prizes & Categories

We’ll be awarding prizes across a range of categories.

Prize Categories:

  • Overall Male / Female (and/or Overall 1st–3rd)

  • Age categories (e.g., V40, V50, V60, etc.)

When prizes are presented:

  • Presented after results are confirmed at the finish line

Affiliation Discount

Affiliated runners receive the discounted entry price:

  • £24 + booking fees (affiliated)

  • £25 + booking fees (non-affiliated)

Directions

Free parking is on site.  Follow your SatNav to ME13 0NX and park where indicated on site. A public bus stop via the Stage Coach No. 666 is next to the parking area. Please do not park in the Red Lion carpark, unless you have a reservation with them (we can highly recommend!)
